Now that it's all over, can we see the winning match?

I posted the winning replay ID already, but if you don't know how to get a replay from ID, it can also be found here: http://forums.faforever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=10903&start=50#p111922

Or is there a completed run going to be posted on the last day by team Luxy.

If they tried and eventually got new record, then they couldn't say they predicted Blodir will win this.

Don't forget about lag and that relatively succesfull try will require more than hour of real time... At least for my PC :(

Just out of curiosity how many games were actually played for this tourney?

I counted 111 games just for myself played with maybe 15 different people

The competition is now officially over. Congratulations to Shado-Israel, Super, Tokyto_ and Blodir for reaching the top time 32:42 (replay id: 3952553) which is remarkably close to the finish of the survival (40 minutes). The killing wave consisted of over 50 experimentals. Even if the competition is over, I still encourage players to try to beat this time (it's definitely possible to survive that wave!)

This challenge was kind of a cool experiment. We had quite a few contestants in the beginning, but sadly a lot of people gave up fast. It's quite difficult to do a challenge like this when it requires coordination of 4 players and incredible accuracy in buildorder. Many players felt like they did not have a chance of beating the top times or did not want to spend the time it would take, however this is undoubtedly the most games I have ever seen played in a FAF Tournament and hopefully it has introduced some of you to a new side of FA.

Now as for the winner of hearts avatar, you can nominate a replay for it in this thread or directly to either me (Blodir) or Petricpwnz, in a day or two I will be setting up a poll to decide who had the most awesome strategy!

Thanks for competing!

lol what is team luxy ? ^^

"In 2015, a pro unit was sent to a tournament for a game they didn't want. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security forum to the FAF underground. Today, still wanted by the mods they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The LuXy-Team."
