You are asking for score to replace your ability to scout. Why not just play without fog of war?

But seriously the best option is probably to nerf all air factory engi production speed to be like the old cybran airfac :)

I'm in favor of score for the sole reason that it makes it possible to counter first bomber :D Though it would be nice to only have it for the first 2 minutes of the game.

maybe if you make land fac it will spawn with land scout that you do not have to build? :D

No. It makes scouting unimportant and makes guessing/luck way too much part of the game.

Why would the strategy be interesting if the opponent can see what you're doing?

(that is why ASF spammer, and massfab makers get such big score, not sure if it will be same if you build whole bunch of t3 pgens and add same amount of t3 radars xD )

and if you kill units that cost alot, you also get score boosts, relative to how much unit cost, obviosly

ACU cost 1329137271361789236 power so you used to get huge score boost, and i do not actually remember why exactly but it was decided that this is kinda wrong and instead of changing stuff or doing other formulas or recalculations, we just substract excessive score... yea that is that easy...

Finally, answer to your question is: Score change only affects ACU

Edit: talking about score in game, imo it should always be OFF, cause when you see enemy score you can approximately know how much resources they spend, and pretty accurately know what is enemy doing early game if you look at your score and enemy score, you can know if enemy does different BO, or you can guess some build just by looking at score.

i remember myself making air 1rst on paradise map... and my opponent also did air 1rst, easy spotted by score, then i was making engy, and he also was making engy... i knew it cause there were no score difference, and then he went ahead in score and i knew that it is an other unit that is not engy, so obviosly and air unit and obviosly it is bomber... so i build interceptor and killed his bomber before he could do anything...

another example could be salt rock colony com rush builds... you can spot them by score too

I know score for ACU kills was drastically reduced, does it count other kills at all? Sometimes you can have a lower score while having better mass / energy income than someone else. I guess reclaim is included, like in the graphs shown at score screen?
