If you've been made redundant then you have much more important things to worry about than playing games.

I was made redundant 12 months ago. 9 months ago I deleted SCFA and FAF. With all that extra time I have:

1. Built a Boat
2. Increased my job application rate 5 fold
3. Sold most of my belongings I no longer need on the internet
4. Finished several projects around my dad's farm (earning me more money)
5. Fixed several cars
4. Started my own business and 'am earning a semi-regular income
6. Designed a new product line for an invention I wish to sell
7. Found a girlfriend
8. Rented out rooms in my house such that it is now a cash neutral investment

Even despite the appalling unemployment, at the moment, and the lack of interest from my applications. I am almost at a point where I no longer need to be employed. I can almost support myself. But none of this would have been possible if I had not stopped playing this bloody game.

Life's too short for playing games.

Actually sounds like a good idea. ;)

Well, if any of these things are impossible while also playing FA in your FREE TIME, something else is wrong.

The first couple games I play of the day are usually relaxed and paced. If you keep playing, watching, and reading too much into anything you'll get an overflow of information and learn that you won't absorb it properly.

I say make a schedule for yourself and stick to it in order to work this out as a game addiction has been scientifically proven to be as bad or worse than drug addiction.

I watched more people drop out of college and lose jobs due to excessive gaming than drugs. It's pretty sad...

1) Get a job where you are the boss and work from home.
2) When you start work, ring minions (LAB's) and delegate work for the day.
3) Start "work" (games)
4) Ignore phone when minions ring as you are "too busy"

Some useful tools that helped me,

1) Assemble man cave - Converted garage to "office" that I need for "work"
2) Tell wife you are busy doing "work" = more games in the evening
3) Place fridge as close as possible to office/mancave fill appropriately with beer
