It's not false, just google "most hated band in the world" and see who all the results are talking about. No one says they're not successful, so are One Direction and Justin Beiber etc and they've got similar levels of hate going on. Interesting to see so many people white knighting them though.

Fair enough, but they (it's a band, not a solo act) probably make the most hated music in the (English-speaking) world.
