I've added an issue for this on github here.

Sheeo we drastically need to do something about this, I'm about to loose my shit. And I know it does no good to get angry nor is it your fault ....but god am I angry!

this stupid thing needs to go away it's driving me up the wall, I never check what mods are activated I just use the keyboard to host. I do it really fast. I only ever stumble upon the fact that they are activated if I just so happen to alt tab to FAF and then I see my game in the list with a little bit of red under the title.

As part of refactoring how mods are loaded in games, we will also be looking at this.

Having said all that, I agree that it would be nice if they weren't auto-selected. No urgency implied, nor is it needed. ;)

No idea on the UI Lagfix one, in my opinion its easiest to just avoid both.

exactly!

so it's really annoying that the default be to have them activated everytime you host a game if ever you had the bad luck of double clicking on a host that contains them (which is all the time since it spreads exponentially that way).

it's profusely annoying.

everyone's too lazy to turn them off

so can we just all agree that mods activated by default when you host was one of Zep's shittier ideas?

I seem to recall FAF has something of it's own in that regard which conflicts with both of them, rendering them useless.

Anyways, through statistics I've had more crashes and disconections when these mods were activated then when they where not. I've got the feeling these mods are profusely bad. Can anyone confirm?

if Yes, shouldn't they be removed from the mod vault?
