The problem here is that this isn't a bug, it's intended. The unit finished its order, the order being attack-MOVE. The issue is that this command was never reaaaally intended for this purpose, but now it's used for basically nothing else.

I suppose we COULD give engies an engie-only attack-move which only reclaims, but we could not make it restart when your mass runs low. If you want that behaviour, use patrol.

Reclaim patrol on the other hand is far less useful in that capacity since the engineers will just carry on round the same patrol indefinitely trying to reclaim ground that has nothing left to reclaim.

But do please fix the bug with attack move not restarting reclaim once your mass bar is no longer maxed.

And if you are going to be adjusting the patrol behaviour then please please please change it so that engineers on assist/reclaim patrol only wander about half as far from their route as they currently do. Assist patrol is pretty much useless atm because engies assigned to patrol a base to repair units will happily wander a T1 PD range outside the base where they inevitably get destroyed by marauding hostiles.

attack move is better, when engi reclaim all mass on his path he will be idle so I can se he is idle and give him another task, with patrol he just circling

you can rename it to reclaim move :)

you mean patrol or attack move? I am for attack move or both :)

btw. engis doing also repairing, assisting factories and mexes(not paused), pls remove this too

btw2. my idea:
attack move/patrol - only reclaim
repair patrol - only repair - would work same way like patrol button,, but by using assist button
assist patrol - only assisting - would work same way like patrol button, but by using assist button
