I think UEF design is just a relic from the beginning of the war when everyone was manned by people, and it was the high number of casualties that created the need for robotic armies.

I believe that's a transport plane of some kind designed to carry humans, not a unit you build with an air factory

Though speaking of which, most UEF planes do seem to have stuff resembling cockpits... Maybe SupCom is actually a much more bloodier universe

I wouldn't say intelligence is the main cause of the limited playerbase for this game. But if playing an RTS game with deadly RC tanks and robots makes you think you're a genius, then by all means enjoy that

This game is an outlet for my strategic genius. The buzz that I get from crushing a higher rated opponent is immense, the duel of David versus Goliath, their indignant surprise at being defeated, typing "gg" and not getting a response (presumably because they are too shocked/angry to even respond) is immensely satisfying. I like to pick on people who are higher rated than I am As sometimes I have moments of genius and then I go and lose to someone rated 600 that is very frustrating, it feels like I have to play every game 100% even those that I think I should win through experience. Complacency is a big killer for me. I have lost a lot of games where I should have won due to simply being lazy and taking my foot off the gas too early. So yeah, these are my thoughts.
