Beat him consistently in 1v1 or in team games.
Ignore him, this frustrates them more.Life is full of
malignant elements, we should die repeatedly if we let ourselves get affected by them.

This doesn't mean they are not irritating though. Let me give you an example, your teammate sits his fat bottom on his base to tech
, while all the time he's giving you orders, to give him resources, to make land , to make air to absorb all enemy hit waves while he quietly builds his awesome experimental. If you don't manage to save yourself and in the process his lazy brain cells you're a noob and he's a pro and he ragequits or tmls you. Such sad joes! You get the idea?

glad to see u care and even look for information. That's the kind of players that form a nice community :)
Imho what u can do (as stated before):
- take screenshots of abusive language and send to mods on this forum (you may use a file hoster if multiple pics), include game id, a short description of the issue and probably also the name of the rude player (time of incident may help too I assume)
- if u do not want another game with the rude player, u can add him to your foe list (right click on his name in the main lobby and add to the list). However, this will NOT prevent him from joining games u host. Anyway, in the lobby games with your foes in them will be displayed in red if I am not mistaken - as a host you then can remove them (tho some are such a pain in the butt that they will ruin your game/lobby by constantly rejoining) or leave the game as a player
- For in-game behavior I suggest u never ever TML/nuke them or be as rude as they are. It should result in u being warned/banned as well for such a behavior is not tolerated.
- try to reason with him in chat if he gets too annoying. If he refuses to stop I usually tell them if they don't stop mods will be informed. Unfortunately, most of those players think they are untouchable and will give some smart ass comments and go on.

I have hosted a lot of games and, despite many saying this community is among the more civilized, I sometimes am very frustrated with the amount of smarty pants around here. Especially higher ranked players (can talk about 1400-1600 only) in my experience often are darn full of themselves, looking down on others. Sadly, some of them seem to get away with a lot of wacky actions. Maybe due to them being friends with mods or simply cuz noone reports them.

Anyway, dont let any player bring you down. Be nice and others will be nice to you :)

So I'm still fairly new to FAF but getting tired of getting abuse from my own team members. In my latest game I got harassed by one of my own team members. After another of our team left early due to ping issues, this abusive player demanded all the free mexes and just gave us frankly distracting abuse for it. He had no reason to assume he should have them all, he wasn't a team leader, wasn't the highest ranked and was only 100 points higher than me.

What options do I have to avoid this player in the future? Any ? Can his behaviour be reported? If this game had of been my first ever I might have just not bothered with this amazing community any further.

I think you can also add the individual player to your foe list. I believe this will make you avoid each other's games in the future.

If you feel harassed, talk to a moderator.

If you decide to solve the problem yourself by insulting the guy or team-killing him, you will be both banned (or eventually only you).

Usually when one of my teammates dies I also try to get all the mass spots; my experience is that on average people are way too slobby when it comes to upgrading mexes in someone else's old base.
