But also mass fab manager is not ready for implementing it cannot make a difference between effective and ineffective mass fabs. adjacency is not taken in consideration and t3 mass fabs later then t2 mass fabs is not in.

Massfab is really good on sentons, and in general these cheaty mods affect only senton alot. (or air spot play on maps like wonder, twin rivers, ...) I personally would like to see anything not implemented in FAF modwise forbidden. easy to draw the line, no complaining and mods can still be used in custom games if all agree to it.

Agreed, anything goes in team games (with motification of what mods are in use if possible), but in ladder, level playing field. Let the mods be vetted in team games and then if they are ok, integrate them.

dont forget that if things are turned off partialy they become less efficient buildings

the downside of the power throttle is also pretty obvious you can no longer push stuff as it will always prioritize mexes as a result someone with this mode disabled is ble to build stuff ~10% faster

if you would ban it you would also get rid of a lot of usefull stuff that is 100% UI (1 click mex upgrades) mex tech level highlighting showing nukes/antinukes

I think you *can* argue in favor of things like this, but it is cheating. It is removing part of the game (manual triggering of mass fabs, manual sharing, manual control of energy stalls) and allowing you to gloss over it and focus more APM on combat things. This game is a balance of work on eco, base, and units. The eco manager mod removes most of the eco aspect.

Hey, I'm all for making things more streamlined and less APM-dependent. I just think it's a bad idea to hide these things in external mods. Knowing, finding & installing mods should not be part of the FA-skillset. Power of the equality.

Again, it's not like it's giving any advantage to begin it. It only make mass fab less a mistake to build.
But still probably a mistake.

^Which is why we are going to implement Resins hover bomb fix, right?

Cause FA isn't about the APM and thus having a way to increase damage via APM isn't okay when we have APM eliminators like mods.

Right right? ^_^

It is okay. It's also okay to make a UI mod that allow you to do the same thing without requiring much APM.
Also, it's not like it increase the damage of the bomber in any way. The reload time won't decrease because you do it.

I'm not planning any bomber change.

Again, we are talking of mass fab. It's not like they worth their mass to begin with.
