(i mean eco and reclaim is pretty strong, just look at blackheart's rating ^_^ )

1. Upgrade one mex at a time.
2. Upgrade all safe mexes to t2 before making storages.
3. Surround a mass extractor with storages before upgrading it to t3.
4. Keep as little mass in storage as possible, but don't overbuild build capacity either.
5. RAS is very efficient. Upgrade it whenever you can use that much power, then reclaim your t1 & t2 power generators.

There's not much more to it than this. By the way, you're not the first here who thinks his problem is the eco game, and those before you were quite wrong. There are usually far more important things to improve than upgrading mexes more efficiently, especially if we're talking about 1v1. Just look at ZLO, who reached 2300 rating without upgrading any mexes.

I'm not the best player of supreme commander, especially of late. I seem to be picking up bad habits from watching lower rated players and simply goofing around. Because of this, I have stumbled into some poor quality game play on my part. After reviewing my games, and noticing my faults during games, I have determined my biggest problem to be my eco'ing skills. I never did have the best skills when it came to eco'ing, but with patch after patch, what little knowledge of the eco game I did have have sense dwindled. So, to my humble request...

Would any of you be able to either cast a pro player, or cast one of your own replays with more emphasis on the eco part? That is to say, what you/they are planing to do, how this impacts your military and build orders, and what the next step will be further in the game.

I understand many things can change the planning phase of a game (Starting with the map choice), but any game that you find that is balanced and can describe what is going on in the head of the player would be great.

Thanks a bunch!

-Rock
