The engineering stations are actually built by idifixnl and then given to the other teammates.
They upgrade their Coms simultaneously too, adding prolonged strain on their teammates.

Ultimately their plan horribly fails due to the TMD of the enemies.

A very useful UI-mod to have is Supreme Economy 2: It shows the top draining projects on the left side, both M and E.
You can click on it so select it, and then you can pause or ctrl-k it easily.

You can see a picture of it on that webpage for version 2, but it is in the FAF mod vault too.

That looks handy.

But i think it is not a problem cause since you know that can happen to you you can identify and just pause/give back engineering station

Still 3600 power drain (-2700 after my production) is quite a lot of drain from 1 engineering station given to me then upgrading his acu. Is that the actual cause?

He builds an engineering station next to his com when he upgrades it (RAS too, lol, upgrading ras at front... such a juicy target for a snipe), and then gives it to you (and another ally, that also notices a resource drain)

Engineering stations automatically assist any construction, and this includes ACU upgrades, so he was pretty much being a d*ck and forcedly taking your power.

Economy overlay FTW (ctrl + R)

EDIT: a fix for this is to manually control the engineering station and reclaim everything that they own around them. If they feel obliged to take your resources without asking, you have all the right to start randomly reclaiming everything in range that belongs to them. (if they get sniped, that just means double eco for someone who's not a d*ck 8-) )
