what you want is: select existing units AND the factory, then set up a new patrol

Thanks mate, this does the trick :)

then when you want to change it (for allready build and new unit) you drag the existing order somewhere else)

if you only want your new units to follow your new order you simply give new order to factory

This feature has been an aspect of the game for some time. The patrol order needs to be incorporated into the factory waypoint. Newly constructed units will automatically join the patrol.

Thanks for your reply, but how exactly do you incorporate the factory waypoint with the patrol order?

I don't think it's possible what I mean.

I understand it's possible to let a factory make a patrol, but you can't add exitsing units to that patrol.

Or when there already is a patrol, let the factory add units to that patrol.

Other orders which can be used in the factory waypoint include the move, and attack-move commands. A move order (for a land factory) can even be set to a ferry system beacon. Meaning that newly constructed units will automatically load into transports. ;) It is a way of keeping your factories viable over longer distances.

Alternatively, transports can be told to assist the factory. Transports, when told to do this, will assist a move command, but not an attack-move command. This can be useful when you don't want the transports to drop at the final destination. By giving the factory waypoint a move command followed by an attack move command. The transports will deliver units to the designated "drop zone". The land units will then proceed on the ground. Stopping to attack enemies as they do so.

For example, a group of ASF's is flying in a patrol order. It it possible to let all new build ASF's automatically join the patrol?

Thanks in advance
