I have had a similar issue where my units would not fire, dispite them being on the correct attack stance, however toggling holdfire fixed the issue

I've not heard of or seen this before but in a 1v1 with Ferdn I observed my Mech Marines unable to fire at an opposing engineer or other units at all. Ferdn appeared to be quite amused at this bug/cheat (unsure). See the attached replay on the far right group of Mexes from about 2:30 onwards.
