Mods are LUA files and run by FA. It can't actually access any other executables or do anything outside of the standard LUA library and the FA functions.

Pretty sure you're trolling, but there you have it.

Could anyone tell me what prevents me (except for my knowledge of programming) from creating a botnet of FAF users by uploading a fake mod to the vault and naming it like "OfFfFiCiAl=MASTER-PR@-SKILL-FOR-NOOBS-NO-LAG-BETA_v3"?
Also, except for the part we are already a botnet made by ZeP.
