I would recommend most people to stay away from Google in any case. Why? www.donttrack.us pretty much says it all to be honest.

Though I understand the general population will use it, and thereby its important to be seen!

I think it would be good if we had curated content - gyle only casts good stuff. He is selective. We could selectively publish good articles about FAF, about good games, good tactics, good changes, etc. Sure all that stuff is buried in forum posts but that's not for the idle user. I'd like to see an article on micro, an article on economy, etc.

I would really like a FAF wiki as well. How much have a learned from the very outdated wikia site

It's because the keyword "multiplayer" is as good as zero times mentioned on the whole website

Our SEO could be better. The word multiplayer doesn't appear in the html of the home page at all.

Also, I think the actual content for the site could be better from a human point of view (not just google). It's not all that clear what FAF really is... less than a year ago I was playing on steam and although I had heard of FAF for a while, never bothered looking into or installing it because I didn't really know what it was and it didnt seem that important. And I was googling forged alliance many times a week. I think the main reason why I did it was to get some more maps in the end... and only found out about it in the first place after watching Gyle casts (thanks for that btw).

Really, what FAF is way more than just 'a community driven lobby for SC:FA' which is what the front screen says. Should be more like: "Play FA with 1000s of other players on 1000s of maps. Game still being supported, patched, rebalanced and expanded." Now that's a good reason to hit the download button and not just stick with steam.

I have other problems with the site... lets start with... 1/4 of my screen is header logo bar. The home page is a bullet point list but should be few short buzzy marketing messages.

if you search "supreme commander multiplayer'
www.faforever.com does not show up for a long time

This is easily corrected in two different ways:
1. Pay google money for the search word
or
2. Search "supreme commander multiplayer", find faforever and click on it. Repeat and tell others to do it.

Please get this fixed as a community
