That's great news, I hope that Deep will seize this opportunity to improve the buildability of his map (or that someone else will), then it can become a real favourite (and also a pefect map for a FA campaign scenario).

I actually really love Syrtis Major. For some reason that map alone over all the other red desert maps, really strikes me as 'martian.'

On of my favourites is Loki. Not just in the looks but also in design. It's got so many pathways to choose.

The map pip linked is very, very good too. Any map that looks half as good as that is already a success to my mind. The downside is, is that the playability has suffered a bit.

Other maps that are very good:

Desert Planet, Forbidden pass, Forest Planet (not sure of the name, but it's a map with a 4v4 and a 2v2 version of a very detailed forest - made by paceydre or some name like that).
