No, but learning that there was an official lobby before Steam, that this lobby closed and FAF is its spiritual successor with the approval and almost support of Chris Taylor himself (cf. interview) that surely will send the message to journalists : this thing is very serious. Not "official", but almost.

You got a link for that? I like watching the Chris Taylor interviews for some reason.

Agreed. I think the idea is more: "We've made over 9000 bug fixes, including engy mod, rebalancing game enders, etc"
