The GPG forums are back and the spamfilters should be fully functional again. There might be a few bots that registered before the filters came back on that'll manage to get a couple of posts off before being deleted.

The last officall statement by GPG concerning this was, that the merging there Network stuff into Wargamings Network. Perhaps this still courses some problems.
The issiue is reportet to GPG, lets see.

Ive noticed over the last month that they keep going down and coming back online periodically, it's very annoying.

Yeah, I visit the GPG forums daily and in the end there was tons of spams every day, even I tired reporting them, there were really too much. How is that ? Isn't there a way to stop all this shitty spam ? Why now btw , there wasn't so much spam before ?

Anyway the gpg forums are a treasure trove of indispensable information for any SCFA player/modder/map maker, we shouldn't let it go to waste, it would be a terrible loss for the community

Funny is that even in the end it continued to draw frequently a small trickle of new modders too, still playing an active role for the community and not just being only a library of history ! Talk about usefulness

But damn, anyone here by any chance knows/recognizes/has any kind of contact with gpg forum member named spliff? Author of Multiplayer Save FA mod? Anyone? I find it to be terrible joke by fate that few days after he shows up and promises trying to make it work on Steam version the forum dies and newly lighted hope has no other way than to fade away slowly ;(

Weird thing is that I'd been cleaning up spam every day and I pretty much gave up in the end. The day I stopped the forums went down again and they've been gone ever since. I got a feeling that they won't be coming back this time.

Hello, I hope you don't mind me reusing this thread but does anyone here knows why gpg forum is down for week or more now? I would really appreciate any info as it totally cut my contact with one of mod authors that was supposed to check if he can upgrade his mod for steam version ;( And now I have no way of contacting him.

I thought that GPG had that caveman game funded from kickstarter. Are they done for good or is their website and forums just getting redone?
