I think a better solution would be to reset all player's ready setting (remove Xs) as soon as the game type is changed. This would be foolproof.

Currently the host can still host a nonranked, click ranked button, quickly click X and launch.

oh com'on guys.. that could have always been done and i dont see a problem with it, if a few people care so much about rating - let them, this will not change the overall rating much

yeah thats annoying.

I got tricked a few times aswell, where we had some unbalanced teams and our team only x ed because it was shown unranked but got rated in the end.

New lobby looks great but I noticed when hosting a non-ranked game one can quickly change to ranked (single button press) and launch despite all players including the host being ready (X).

Other players will have no time to react and may be deceived into playing a ranked.
