Oh, I thought that, if you see the enemy starting to build mercies (or even aeon getting at T2 airfac) you should probably just send your ACU home and park a transport or two above it. So if they try to snipe you in your base you can "dodge" it by temporarily moving your ACU upstairs.

Or is that unnecessary because an ACU at home has enough AA to stop mercies anyway? Are mercies only a problem for a frontline ACU?

1 )Do you think your transport will stay alive long enough on a front line ?

2 )Do you think you will have time to call the transport and have ur commander get into it and then escape the enemy air ?
Getting into transport take several seconds, fatal seconds.

So it's possible? What makes it impractical? Its not like transports are high tech or expensive. If they have T2 air, then so can you, right? Could it just be a matter of "people are not used to doing it yet" ?

I can imagine it, the new hardcounter against Mercies -> Transporters!
If you see your enemy is building mercies, just build a transporter and fly to the hills like this:

Just curious, I dont have the game installed at the moment so I cant test it.

Can Mercies attack air? If not, does that mean you can dodge a Mercy snipe by loading your ACU onto a transport?

I think #3 has to go on that list. Don't think they are imba, but they are only really countered with t1 interceptors. t1 and t2 aa only work when mercies try to fly past them.

3 Easy Ways to Counter Mercies

#1: Radar!

You always need radar near your ACU. Otherwise, you can’t see when mercies are about to kill you!

#2: Interceptors!

T1 Interceptors are cheap, and a single int will counter mercies! Make sure they’re near your ACU if you’re worried about mercies.

#3: AA!

T1 Stationary AA will easily kill mercies! Be sure to build one if you think you’re in danger of being sniped.
