I'm no hardcore player of this game, but perhaps it would be better if each HQ factory had some sort of a command radius or limit to the factories it can support. Hiding one solitary HQ factory away somewhere whilst being able to reproduce much cheaper support factories doesn't seem quite right to me.

Everything from the engi mod is an interesting change from before (though I do feel it was unnecessary).

As it's a fix for a fix, I did not republished a change log.

3623 doesn't mention anything about the spiderbot stealth radius or sniper bot changes.

and if i have the eco to support 3-4+ t2 factories i just go t3 most of the time.

Interesting. Though it seems to me that its a lot faster to transition into t2 and t3 if you can build those factories right off the bat without having to upgrade.

It really change nothing to the tech timing.

On the other hand, it made no sense that it was always more efficient to only have one higher tech building producing everything with an army of worker ants assisting.

Anyway thanks for the link, would you mind linking me to the actual balance changes? Like the range of sniper bots being increased e.t.c. The changelog.

Including some nice and selfexplaining grafics.

EDIT: And actually you can kepp playing like before, it just offer an additional (mass-equal) option about how you spam higher-tech units.

Could someone point me to where the changes are listed, as well as the effects on the game in practical terms. I'd be especially interested in knowing the reasons why, should a good case be made it may win me over despite the shoutcaster's clear disappointment in it.

(The shoutcaster mentioned that your database may be incorrect as well, but I would not know).
