I played only on steam before and the first time i heared about faf i tryed it but it was too hard (i thought it) but then casi helped me a lot and icken told me a bit too.
So it is nice to play here because i got now a bit of the general knowledge about supcom and faf and when i lose i learn a lot of it and if i win im really happy about it, but to hear that i got potential, of you is really delighting for me

Well lets say real life has me in its ugly claws... work, university, gitlfriend, sports ....
I tend to play smaller maps atm because i hardly have the time for a 2h setonsgame. Further i play horrible bad last weaks ( maybe lack of training)and this lowers my motivation.
However i cant wait to have more time in order to make comeback.

what r u doing, lap? and where is igla btw...

this week i played setons more often than the whole april+may and i watch more setons reps to see new strats while eating etc - but i dont think i get a team to play on regular basis.

but i am curious about the results of SN guys vs bc, tag etc. good teamplay is all on that map. maybe you guys can develop some nice strats (i mean real team strats) - that would be really cool and only possible with a active team to train with.

Pascal will be delighted to read that especially from you Cyth! These boys are new they came from Steam where virtually every player is terrible so they are on a massive learning curve here. Given that we only have 4 players we haven't yet played a match however I take the blame for this since the new baby came along its harder for me to commit to being online as often as before.

We are bursting for a match however, and when we are all online we will call for a match from anyone, and I mean ANYONE!! so get your guys sorted this weekend I would like to have at least played 2-3 matches.

So BC, TAG and anyone else that wants to play us we are coming for you!!!

I say bring the crews back! I have been working alot last few days but later in the week me and my boys want a few matches, so if anyone's clan/crew wants to play us irrespective of how good or bad you are as long as we have enough online its onnnnnn.

I will post results back here once a match takes place would like a few this week if possible.

Hehe that makes me think of a rollback in time, where setons was "crew wars", no matter what the skills were,time where people didn't even use the word "Stack" . Good old days.

I remember a few crews :
Lappen crew : lappen, bull way, sun_tsu, email
Burgh cew : burgh, me, char, master pain
Mize's crew : mize, mechfly, attercob

That time, the lappen crew was probably the best one. Got bashed many many times lol.

BTW, just curious, what does SN stand for ?

I think we shouldn't get carried away, as a starting point if you have some guys on and we do we get a game on. Moving forward if more people are interested then I don't see any reason why an informal league of some kind won't work.

Lets try to walk before we run guys.

The key to this will be getting groups of players with lower ability (such as SN) willing to play better teams as we are. The more the merrier as far as im concerned.

We would need some advertisement thats right, maybe one of the casters could help out with that.
For the avatar: no idea how it works but for other tourneys it does. And we would have one year to solve that issue.
I think that appears very doable.
Maybe i ll set up a post in the tourney forum about the major concept today in the evening when i dont have to type with my smartfone.

and who is implementing the avatar for the winner? i really was thinking of an "official" league..

with the right advertisement it could work, but in the last tries it was even hard to get 2 teams going.

I think you did not get the idea bat.

There is no need to implement something into faf. It would just be a thread in the tourney forum.
The first post has a table in it that gets edited and updated once a while. People have to post the replays and the outcome of the games they want to get scored.
You dont have to play regularly and i think its more than 25 ppl. playing setons.
Teamsize are arguable.

Scoring could work like in a soccer league 3 points for a win and 0 for a loss. You dont get punished for a loss and get rewarded if you play often. There is no need that all teams have the same amount of games in the end.

I would even offer to host that league , make the thread and update the table once a weak or month whatever fits to the amounts of games played

i think noone will implement the "league".

and 8 ppl for a team - well how many players are really playing setons regularly? 20? 25?
and how many of those would play in a weaker team? if you make a league where u get a avatar if u win, noone will be in a "loser team".
and it would not be a "just for fun" game.

but as i mentioned in the first sentence, i think noone will do the work to implement that "league" into faf.
