Does it include your reclime render settings? or you set commands all the time?
I really spend time in game to look around and zoom to places to find reclime - what else to do when you're mass staling?

If anyone is interested in the way I think the keys should be assigned.(probably not the best, but maybe will be good for you)
If you choose to try my prefs file please backup your own. This will need to be placed in users/application data/....supcom
The mods I use are GAZ_UI and hotbuild (I may have azui on as well, but that shouldn't matter)

I think one way to improve this set up would be to include a mod like advanced grouping mod, by I have not been able to get that to work on my computer even if I start from a new preferences file.

Well, you do realize that there is even a build mode in the standard game? It allows you pretty much the same that hotbuild does. Some even considered it to be better. However, hotbuild offers a much better UI and more functions too, I think.

I think my APM isnt that hight either.
In 1v1s I'm something around 60 APM in average, in Teamgames usually lower. (However, my APM is usually higher than Voodoos for some reasons )

Hum, I got the same feeling from time to time. I think I really should start using Hotbuild...at least, thats what I tell myself for years.

I'm also around 40 with pick at 100. Few times i had the feeling to not be able to do everything i wanted in a decent time, but like zlord, playing without hotbuild mod is the direct reason.

Well, most of the APM comes from microing your units, and that won't account for much if your overall strategy and management is inferior.
FA is 80% about economy and general strategy and those don't require many clicks.
Lower APM also means you spend less time clicking around and more time analyzing the situation/making important decisions/eating pizza.

Not that FA would require a lot, but I never saw someone play 1v1 with 30 APM.

not a top player, but my apm is consistently in the mid-high 30s, occasionally breaking 40.
