You should always wait until the player who lost said gg. Then he want to tell you, yeah it was a fair game and you won because you were playing better. There are some players who can't wait and say gg 5 min before they kill you, thats realy arrogant in my eyes.

I must admit I like doing this sometimes :D Only as a joke but it is quite funny, I nickname this tactic the "preemptive gg" which has also been done to me in the past. It gives you a feeling of power though, I must admit, to know that you have contained your enemy and their end is inevitable

Perfect cocky AI story- I was doing a team vs AI game and I went first bomber to slow it's expansion down (poor choice) and the first experimental is a t4 bomber called REVENGE that wastes my base.

Reminds me of the match in which the AI killed me with a monkeylord called "Your End".
The AIs seem pretty good at choosing the right names for their experimentals. ;)

Can get victory and rating points with it, I just dont think its respectable way to do it. In any game.

To each his own. We will meet on the battlefield ;)

The infinite war has been going on for too long, if that is the price one has to pay to end it then... I guess it has to be done. :p

The time for liberation is at hand.

In a team game, hitting CTRL+K in the middle of a enemy army is a good strategy if it helps your team.

Isnt that a little cheap? Suiciding should be frowned upon at least, isnt it?
Also had a few situations with trades, where enemy acu with no support would go for mine with no support and wond quit until we are both dead (team game). I know it could be prevented, still seems cheap though. I knew he had nothing there, never expect a suicide.

Are you some kind of Aeon Illuminate tree hugger. I thought you guys protected your mates?

The Cybrens will be liberated.

This is war. Victory at all costs

There is no shame quitting a game when it's lost.

On the contrary, dragging the game while you have little chances of winning is not very nice in my book :)

I know its seems cheap to drag the game, but a lot of people get to relaxed or mess up for other reason. So I tend not to quit, I know it seem like hoping for lucky result, but people mess up a lot.

Real answer: AI's are set patterns, people can play freestyle and do crazy and/or stupid things.

Also if you pulled off a masterfull ruse and are about to kill your target the GG is like saying checkmate in chess.

Ultimately, it isn't bout calling an accidental victory a well played game, or a mediocre performance a good one. Forget about saying GG or not, it's just about being a good sport, saying something, anything.

Someday an AI will come around that can do everything a player does and more, why should we ever play online then?
