If you resign from fighting, giving me the entire field in exchange of building a turtleshell, shouldn't you be punished by building more tmds and more shields?
What do ya think? Or is it too true to swallow?

When i started a thread about it Zep closed it and told me to read the rules...

Rules only mention that the beta starts with a testing phase and that the main focus is balancing around engy mod and buffing aeon.

Maybe it will be fixed in the patch after 3626...

"You would still be able to sneak shots in, it would do the same amount of damage to units and shields, but would not punish those who make TMD. It keeps all of the DPS pros and keeps cybran missiles from being 10X better than any others. I just wondered why i started this discussion and what I expected. I have the feeling every thread in this forum ends in a flame war...

To the faction diversity: Why do we try to balance anything then? If everything is 'faction diversity', its perfectly balanced. But i want the old Resto back then because Aeon as a faction is supposed to have it.

Whining about 'OP-faction'? I reread my post and yes, with some fantasy this could be a QQ-post. But thats not the intention ;)
The post is not about cybran being OP as a faction. Its about their TML.
I really like the split and I am against anything that would remove that feature or make it useless.
But I also think that this could need a little nerf (yes, you can nerf something without removing it or making it useless).

Maybe not in dmg. But the speed of the children-missles so that they could still deal their dmg vs shields but aren't so overly effective against their counter.

No complaints, only observations. Such as how strange it is that an OP faction can't muster a highest win ratio on even 1 of the 21 ladder maps.

No argument there. But another observation - surely a unit whose sole purpose is to counter one other ought to be able to do so 1v1?

The extra ACU regen doesn't help remove the fact that as soon as the other ACU gets a veterancy bonus, even if the Cybran one does too, the diffrence in HP is even greater again.

The medusa is just fine, its DPS and accuracy are a joke compared to the Lobo or the Fobo. (and it doesn't float either :roll: )
