I do agree with SC - sACUs are very useful to do many things due to their hp, weapons and upgrades, as well being builders... and should be used more anyway.

Megaliths rape them, GC's are OK (especially with shields), although not a counter. Any air with splash works perfectly (strats, soulrippers), T2 static arty/t3 mobile arty deals a lot of damage and a Fatboy is a nightmare for T3 bots... sniperbots can work, too and an Aeon ACU with shield and range upgrade is also not the worst thing to have... or Sera SACU with overcharge (they should get more range IMO).

Oh and Aeon SACU should work too due to big splash, higher range and higher speed, UEF Sacu has higher range and speed and should work with some hit and run, but probably is inefficient. Cybran SACU with EMP should be worth a try as well, finally those could actually be worth it.

So please don't overreact and nerf T3 bots, I think it is much better now since it makes the game less of an experimental spam game, although Sera/Aeon might be at a disadvantage.

Well, just t3 spam in general. There are now less limits on the amount of reliable build capacity that can be used to spam, and the main advantage of exp's (compared to t3 land) has always been build time.

In Engy Mod, Massing percies is quite common, and yes they are a real pain to deal with.

Their range is the absolute killer. T3 will probably be slightly balanced in the next few months if people can't find a reliable counter.

Don't expect the AI to do anything, it's retarded.
Against a human player you'd be dead.

I don't have to counter the massed percies. All I need to do is kill the ACU. Which would be easy considering I would have 60k mass to spend to make it equal spending on things to kill you that bypass the percies completely.

OK I guess we are describing very different games, lol I have massed 150 Percys in TeamPlay and wreaked havoc without one AIx TML attacking my force. It pisses me off because I am hoping the AI can counter. You say that a human opposition would not let you get that many Percys and would have a counter ...err...what is that counter... the microed Percys can only be stopped by Experimentals and even there the Percys win.

Percys are too buff and the AIx does not see then as a threat. Although I play UEF I would like to see a slight nerf for balance because a 50+ Percy mob rules all atm ...even without mobile shields, bubble SCU or other support.

If the UEF guy with the percies micros even a tiny bit, I think two can kill. They move at around same speed and percies have far more range.

Just for the sake of argument i actually performed the test, and with only 1 Percy the commander can OC it with loosing a little more than half of his HP, with 2 he survives on a thread but 3 kill him without difficulty, this is assuming that Percis are not on a pile where Commander can one shot them and that commander has no ranks or upgrades.

OCing T3 units is a cheap way to deal with them, but again the awesome power of front loaded power makes them a lot more dangerous than the other T3 units. 4-5 Percivals will kill your ACU in 4 seconds.
