Noc i have been trying to get the community on board but there are questions there asking that i cant provide the answer to.

If you aren't after the source code I'm not even sure what you are trying to do. Keep the game available through steam?

While this is moderately intriguing, Reddev, in this entire thread you have given no satisfying explanation of *why* the community should buy the publishing rights. For what benefit? Even if some money could be made from future sales, it seems unlikely it would anytime soon exceed the amount we'd have to donate in the first place - which means it would be better to donate to FAF directly. So unless Reddev can actually explain the purpose of his proposal, or demonstrate with current sales figures that I'm wrong with my guess about its profitability, this isn't even worth considering.

Something called a NDA is in there stooping me from releasing that information but i am putting my own money into this so if you though i was joking about this im not if the community want to help then propose me a away of gathering the money "legally".

Mead look below,

This will be achieved by possible future sales of Supreme Commander and Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance and not only the profits that the company HostYourNet makes, thanks to the role you have all played and this is dependent on if we can get past both the initial stage and the final bidding stage. Once all the money has been returned, all profits from the sale of the game/s will go back into funding the likes of Forged Alliance Forever, Galactic War and the possible revival of GPGnet which will be hosting Supreme Commander, Forged Alliance (3599 Patch/Classic) and Forged Alliance (3603 Patch) as well as keeping the future of Forged Alliance running via Forged Alliance Forever.
The funding will be as follows from the profits:
o50% will go towards Forged Alliance Forever and new future projects.
o50% will go to keeping GPGnet up if it is revived, and if it can't be, then all funding will go towards Forged Alliance Forever.

The problem is I haven't seen anything moving forward, no actions such as I just got an email reply with the sales figures, estimated cost at auction, auction date/time, and what are the bidding requirements.

I mean I would buy Forged Alliance rights for 2-4x yearly sales personally. With the rights I would also get access to who has the source code, and who knows from there.
