Agree with this entirely. Swearing in moderation appears to be entirely tolerated within FAF and I think that is a good thing, friendly conversation between adults quite often does feature a few expletives and I like the feeling of freedom that I get from not having a swear filter or being banned for using rude words.

But with that comes the responsibility of not abusing it, and not being a d*** to other people. Most players show that they can be trusted with naughty words, and that is another thing that makes me love this community.

EDIT: Oh, the irony. It seems that there now is a swear filter. And how exactly am I supposed to address my friend Richard using his preferred diminutive now?

I am still learning to play the game, and I encounter lots of frustration in doing so. My best guess as to why some players get so angry at the game is because it's a very big time investment. Some of these games take some time, and if you feel like an hour was thrown away because of shitty team mates or xyz 'bullshit' problem, then you're not going to feel very good at all.

I agree with Mushroom. There are definitely some players out there who take themselves much too seriously. And also, as a general note, it's not because you are rated 1700+ that you can call any lower rated player a noob.
