The script take the speed of the unit in consideration for the allowed offmap time, so even a spy plane running straight into offmap and turning around won't lose it.

Regarding my off-mapping fix, no, I tested it as I wrote it, and any bomber not intentionally forced off map will be able to complete innumerable passes before being forced to forget its orders.

I realize there is a "fix" to off-mapping currently, that is the units that off-map after a short time forget their orders and then come back into map range, needing a new order after that point, but this fix also punishes instances in which planes inadvertently fly off-map. Being able to see unit icons regardless of whether they are on the map would be a much better fix, imo. Even if folks tried to off map, they would no longer be invisible on radar if they pulled it off.
