Good article but they are utter n00bs finding the AI challenging lol

The AI actually is quite an accomplishment compared to other RTS AIs. And I mean that even before Sorian jumped in.

The problem is just the same of every RTS AI. Once you adapt to it, it is very predictable, and it can't handle unorthodox tactics from the human players. But at least it has a simple grasp of positioning and the way the AI behaves makes it somewhat unpredictable at times.

At the very least it took me longer to adapt to Supreme Commander's AI than it did for me to adapt to any other RTS AI I've ever played against. And it did so WITHOUT CHEATING. Nearly every other RTS AI cheats to varying degrees, having no fog-of-war being the most frequent culprit because they're too lazy to even code the AI to scout by itself. Without you specifically asking for it from Sorian's AI, the Supreme Commander AI will respect fog-of-war.

Sins of a Solar Empire's main sin is the extent to which its AI cheats. I can have an economy four times as robust as theirs, and still be hopelessly outproduced and out-researched. (And win...)

At least FAF is mentioned in the highest rated comment.

Of course, they even wrote a piece on FAF itself! :D (http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/11/19/supco ... war-alive/)

Earlier today, a post was published entitled, "The Making of Supreme Commander".
It offers a unique insight into how our beloved game came into fruition, and I urge everyone to check it out!
