Yep that solved the problem - great thanks!

In fact there was simply no editor.scd file in that folder in the first place - so I didnt have to back up a copy. Looks like those morons forgot to include it in the game version.


I think it would be good to post this solution somewhere easy to find.

I also don't have enough knowledge to find out where these files should be. I would expect them to be in the bin folder judging by the lack of a proper path (same folder as the map editor exe) but there's barely anything there.

There are threads on steam forum too.
Did you download supcom from steam and it works for you?
