So what you are saying is that the server knows that that new account is a 2000 rated player and will balance on that ???

When join around 1000 rated game would be verry unbalanced normally if server know that no ??,

If you have a player with 2000+rating making new accounts the game quality % is wrong big time !!!

Actually that kind of matchup have problably a draw probabilty of 95% (meaning that both player have a 50% probability of winning).

Rating is a guide to how well a player plays. It is inaccurate. Thus a guide. Just because player A has 1000 and player B has 1100 doesn't mean B will win 100% of the time. Rating is gained by winning games, even losing game I found when i started.
As much as it would be kewl to have a rating in every spot on every map, its not viable. It's too much work for the techs i'd imagine and also too much work for each player trying to work up each rating individually.
Don't view rating as an indefinite answer to how games will play out. Just a rough guide to balance them. If anything, its more of a guide of how well a player can control his or her economy.

(Assuming the player isn't being carried in 2v2's but that only lasts to the 800 mark-ish)

Setons is barely a team game. It is 4 specialized 1v1's occurring simultaneously. I think a specific Setons rating for various spots makes sense to have but is not feasible nor desirable in the current context of FAF.

Make love not war, I want another account so many hours in the day go by with games I cannot join its annoying. Im already at the point where I accept virtually every game knowing there is no chance I can win just to get a game.

No need for an independent rating 1v1 is the only difference which is already catered for.

i would suggest not to change the rating system on setons. it is almost worthless for teamgames and only usefull for 1v1 - so setons is a team game so the rating seems for the birds for me.

v i am sorry for you that u can't play with ur others account in high level setons games because of the low rating. i really believe that if u would mention " i am the almighty V! can i play here?" that they won't let u play. i am sure of that. so u are really forced to play with weaker, unworhty guys. oh dear what a dilema. and other ppl dont understand u like i do. so i feel so sorry. it is a shame.
i hope this was not too personal for u. i just had to express my feelings and tell u i am there if u need a shoulder to cry on.
