Once your level is reach, your score won't go lower if you lost an equal opponent.

Actually, before your reach it, it's very unlikely that you will lose anything from any game.

Read the wiki to learn how statistics works.

The rating system takes into account only whether you won or lost. Giving up early will mean you lose more, so your rating already reflects that. As far as over inflating your rating is concerned, the only solution is to play worse. If there was a way to make your rating go up more than it should people would have abused it to hell.

Besides I look at rating less in the sense of why am I so much higher than xyz person, and more in the sense why am I still so much below zyx person. Just a thought.

Ok so lately no matter how many games I lose my rank keeps going up then I had a thought, which I would be interested to get some feedback on.

If a game is lost IMO then im one of those that says "tarrar a bit" and hits Ctrl & K my general wondering is that if I do that does my rank not go down because we lost?? I'm not sure if this has already been discussed but I think if someone is a pussy (like me) and decides to quit their rank should go down quite a bit.

My rank is over inflated and does not represent my skill level at this game, if without realizing im doing something that keeps it there I may actually have to stop quitting arrrgh.
