Ok I never intended to give off the idea that the interviews weren’t interesting or insightful about their topics. I just don’t see anything that makes me say “Wow, giving a FAF player this interview is going to change their entire outlook on the game!”

Like I’d rather we keep a permanent rotation of high quality casts or something of major tournaments. Encourages more regular casters (which we need desperately) and can potentially pull new players into the game, particularly the game modes advertised by the casts.

Common work with us. No sane person on faf doesn’t care about Chris Taylor. This video interview series with faf directly is a first previously recorded interviews with him were on mumble for frame of reference and that’s the one I know of , I don’t think there was any other, nor was the scope or depth on the same level. Also the level of good orchestration and presentation, this is the official community manager, the ambassador of faf interviewing. So the relationship becomes much more direct between everyone on faf and Chris Taylor. Also it marks 13 years since the start of faf by my count, 9 year according to nine. The acknowledgment at this late date takes even more weight and value as such.

Lastly people are coming and going from faf all the time. It’s entirely plausible a strong majority of the full faf player base over the years will be entirely unawares of the existence of this interview when they would very much like to know, should they ever return to faf, which as we know ( tmm,nomads, 2 new campaigns, 4 new ais, map generator, rating fixes, new forum, ....) there might be a slew of reasons right now and in the coming months for them to do so.

I see, but in my opinion it deserves a bigger spot. After years of hearing nothiing from the original developers (afaik), you manage to get the entire team out there for hours long cool interviews. Its monumental and big in FAF history.

I would advise to make a picture, with links to the interview. Heck I would let it stay permanently there.

The news tab is really nice. One sugestion is to keep interesting news a bit longer there. The interviews were really interesting for example, but they are already gone from the news tab.

There's no news history at the moment but I guess I'll add that in. The articles are still there just hidden. If there's anything in particular you want just ask me.

I like the idea of the player spotlights.

News could have random player spotlights:
- show their rank progress
- quick info about them
- random fun stuff they want to offer
- do they have a rival?
- do they have a favorite caster?
- favorate map?
