Educate me if I am wrong...
On topic: using the faf mumble seems more open to me, every faf player can join (and we do entertain some guests on occasion)
We still do have our clan mumble server as backup, but more complicated with guest....

I have several screens I drag, others do not, so they don't have to alt-tab and change channel themselves

opt-in webapp to boot, no account needed while you try it, and when you do create the account it keeps your settings and once again does it's magic trick once you accept to install the desktop app which as it happens is readily available from any package manager on linux.

there's no choice needed to be made on whether the VOIP you have is channel-based or per-person based or something kinda in-between, you can have a high level of configurability to your visibility and what communities generate notifications or don't.

it's got a lot of things going for it to say the very least.
