if you want to fire missiles at separate targets, and you DO want them to fire 1 missile each at the same time, then you would need as many TMLs as there are targets.
TMLs will only fire when all 3 of these things are true:
1-their firing mode is not "hold fire"
2-they are loaded with at least 1 missile
3-they have an order to launch at something
You can try to coordinate their launches by making sure that conditions 1, 2, and 3 all become true for multiple launchers at the exact same time.
The EASIEST way to do this is to select your TMLs and change their targeting mode to "hold fire." (their default mode, when you construct a new one, is "return fire.") Then you can queue up one or more launch orders. (Of course you can give multiple launch orders by holding the "shift" key). They will continue to build missiles while they are on hold fire. Once you have given them launch orders, AND they are loaded with enough missiles, you can select all of them at once and set them all to "return fire." They will fire missiles at exactly the same time.
So with a single button press, you cause all of the loaded launchers to fire at the exact same time.
A less easy way is to try to coordinate when they finish building their first missile. Let's say for each launcher, you get it to 95% complete on a missile, and then press "Z" to pause missile construction (and you don't have any engies assisting them). You can get 4 launchers all to 95%, give them launch orders, and then select them all and press "Z" so they will all finish building the missiles and then launch at the same time. This is definitely something you can do, but the first method I describe (setting them to "hold fire") is better.
Another way is to click on each loaded TML REALLY REALLY quickly, to give orders, so they each get a launch order at almost the same time. I'm only mentioning it because it is a way, even if it is not a GOOD way, to do this.
Advanced topics in TML synchronization:
You might want to stagger when you fire TMLs, for example if your launchers are spread out (or if the targets are spread out), and you want the missiles to ARRIVE at the same time. So you might want to set all of them to hold fire, give launch orders, and then set them one or two at a time to "return fire," so the launchers that are farther from their targets will fire first.
OR you might want your missiles to come into view of your opponent at the same time, even if they don't land at the exact same time.
OR you might want your missiles to arrive staggered, if you are against Aeon TMD . . .
Hey, thanks for this, but as it is 1 missile at least, what about the max limit?
