Self destruct ctrlk is right next to split attack ctrlj
Maybe you were trying to split attack
.

Were cheats enabled? If cheats are enabled your opponent can ctrlk you

this happened me to, I was beetle sniping (when they were still usefull) and like 5sec before they would kill ACU I wanted to hit spread attack, but I did hit instant self destruct

I changed keybind right away to CTRL+END, change it too to something harder to hit

There was self destruct command from you (normal one, with 5 sec delay).

in game 9590666 today, my shielded commander instantly blows up for no reason I can find.

I rewatched the demo a couple times and don't see anything! The demo is not a dynsch. This occurs at 27 minutes.
