there was some bugfixing/improvements on the air staging facilities in the last few years so whatever bug you had in steam fa might not be a problem in faforever

also yes it's good to mention that you found a bug in steam fa - someone might actually waste his time trying to find/fix the bug you describe in faf while it might not be present anymore in the first place

should you encounter the bug again then make sure to save the replay file and add it to your post/if you play on faf all replays are also stored online so you can just tell us the game UID and we can check it out

Interesting, I will try if it happens again. Although the plane was on the Air Staging Facility because it went there automatically while on patrol, so it may end up not having a visible order.

I admit i'm not sure what EQ is. I should mention that this was happening in the base game, not while using Forged Alliance Forever, so it's always possible FAF has fixed this bug. Haven't read any change logs but it looks like they actively update the game and made some nice quality of life improvements, which I think is awesome, and an impressive commitment. I have to say, returning to Supreme Commander after some years and discovering that FAF exists has been a real treat!

I find air staging facilities super useful, especially for keeping patrols serviced.

I often use air staging facilities. Recently played a game where all the facilities I had built had fully repaired air superiority fighters sitting idle on them. They appeared stuck because they were not returning to their patrol route like normal. Clicking deploy did nothing, even when I then clicked on the ground or on an enemy air unit afterwards. All other commands for the facility were grayed out and I could not select the planes directly.

Is this a bug that I haven't noticed before?

Hope you all are doing well :)
