edit: regarding the target prio - since this was a hotfix patch we didn't have time to look out for the target prio changes
strogo redid his PR on this so i'm confident that we'll merge it in the near future

We recently shipped the 3699 patch (and a hotfix shortly after).

That means that we can start working on the next patch!

We already have a few new open pull requests - some of which may need a bit more work or someone to test/proofread.

This Thread is here to document Pull Requests that have been merged to allow everyone to give us feedback/playtest stuff by playing the FAF Develop game mode in the FAF client.

Current list of changes:
  • Relocate versionnr - this change puts the game patch number in the game lobby in a spot where it's more visible. It also allows you to open the changelog window (the one you see when you play a new patch for the first time) by clicking on it. The patchlog window also has a new button which allows you to open the entire changelog on github in your default browser.
  • Changed Novax Sat fix in order to not potentially break mods
  • Fixed a bug related to (upgrading) Kennels
  • Updated mod blacklist (added 2 mods that are redundant due to the projectile collision changes in 3699)
  • Removed smoke effect on the water surface caused by wrecks on the bottom of the ocean
  • Moved current patch number in the lobby to a more visible location
  • Allow Users to open the Changelog by clicking on the patch number in the game lobby
  • Allow Users to open the changelog on github by adding a button to the changelog popup in the lobby

I would greatly appreciate feedback concerning the upcoming changes.
Please keep in mind that game patches are for fixes/enhancements of the game and NOT for balance changes. Some of the changes made may affect balance due to the nature of them but we also try to work as closely as possible with the balance team to get feedback/permission to certain changes.
