So far so good.

feels a little easier for my laptop to handle the transitions between the different tabs, like play, vault & replays.

Let you know if anything unusual happens/or doesn't happen. (<-stability, yeah) 8-)

Don't you get the same?
I realized that the beta client has the setups of the 0.16.0 version client, and probably cache too.
Should I clear the cache maybe? I don't know if it helps...

I get this in terminal:
Note: the Outgoing JSON Message: {"command": "ask_session", "version": "0.16.0", "user_agent": "faf-client"} has the (wrong?) version string...
Code:

I have a faf-uid.exe in
/home/XX/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/supCom/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Forged Alliance Forever/lib

Where should I find / copy the linux versions of these binaries?

EDIT
OK i found it: /usr/local/bin/faf-uid (it's not in my home directory)
I've tried everything to make the client work back then. lol
So I copied the windows versions in too, I guess. oO

EDIT2
I have faf-ice-adapter in /usr/local/bin now with chmod +x faf-ice-adapter
This doesn't solve the login issue I have tho. TheIrishMan is banned. ^^'
Isn't it the RELEASE-VERSION file content that causes the server to ban me?

You're using Linux versions of these, not Windows, right?

try logging in with a different faf acc

I've tried Uveso without a password.
Now, he is banned too. x)

I have something wrong with my client setup probably.
Which version should I use of these?
- faf-ice-adapter.exe - using v6.2.2
- faf-uid.exe - using v4.0.5
- Also, what is the content of your ../fafclient/res/RELEASE-VERSION text file?

I have no idea what comes with the windows installer...
You have to do everything manually on linux.

If I try to log in using a made up name btw, like asdflkahw, it just says "not found...".
So me and Uveso is definitely in the database.

Problem3:
The client starts but it gives me this message in a window:
Error from Server: Fraudent login attempt detected. As ... your account has been banned permanently...

Second attempt:
It says I'm banned. wtf! ><

The normal server with the normal client works btw.
I have no idea how the test server works. I tried to use my user name and password to log in.
My account is not that new, like half a year old... and I didn't change my user name.

Played 2 games so far.

1v1 - 30mins with a russian, no connection problems. Dont know the player so hard to tell if connection is working better.
3 player survival for 3-5 mins. We melted fast LOL.

Hard to get any game going since no one seems to be on the test server.

It also seems to be taking old data for players rating/number of games, but who cares...

3rd game: connection issue, but the guy milka95g said it was his internet, it reconnected and went on. On the other hand we were not able to test properly beyond 15mins because for some reason we couldnt kill the attacking AI, i presume because we had 1 ai on our team, that messed up the map....

you don't even need a password to log in on the test server - the only possible issue with logging in is if you changed your username recently/your acc is fairly new since the test server uses a copy of the production db which is a little bit outdated by now (maybe a few months? not sure when it was updated the last time)
