due to popular demand and some recent changes I think it's necessary to explain how the replay search currently works.
- In player and map names you can use an asterisk * as a wildcard. I.e. A* will give you the first 100 players starting with an A.
- If you do not use an asterisk, the exact name is searched (fixed for players yesterday)
- Some maps have spaces in their names. For some reasons, spaces are not correctly searched. Use an asterisk instead. Example: Seton's*Clutch
- The rating number searches for all games where at least one player is equal or above the given rating.
- If you search for a map name, you will get all versions of that map (finally fixed yesterday).
- All criterias must match at once. If you do not wish to search for player or map, leave the field empty.
- There is a maximum limit of 150 games per search, ordered by date (newest first). For some technical reason the limit is even lower. (Each map consumes "game slots" as many players as it had. Example: If you have a search that always has 8 players in the game, you will be shown only 150 / 8 = 18 games.)
- Please note that every search affects the server performance. The more searches are running, the slower for the rest of you. Be patient before restarting a search. It may take some time.
Have fun.
Side note: Our new Java API is capable of more powerful search queries, but I did not found it's way into the clients yet. We hope for your understanding that we will not implement any further suggestions for the legacy search.Statistics: Posted by Brutus5000 — 28 May 2017, 00:52
