Personally, I would hope they know people stopped playing for political reasons and not because of $. This is a poor attempt to get people to play and will only result in further tensions.

When they fixed being able to remove avatars, they decided that they would wipe the whole thing as "haha they were not supposed to be permanent" and then decided also that avatars would "last" until the next iteration of that tourney

your avatars for "contributing" were kept however

(now Australians (timezone) have a fat chance of winning anything as does like 90% of the planet because noone hosts tourney anymore DD)

That's fine with me. It's just that if it was kept with "Clan War Winner" then it really should just be given to the clan that won the most recent one for the sake of consistency.

AFAIK the avatars were meant to be given only for a certain time - it's just that removing avatars was broken for way too long.

It was decided to have annual assignment of Tournament winner avatars. Previous owners lose the avatars...

Something like this should be turned into an "annual avatar" that represents the year rather removal of history in my opinion.

Pretty poor move by the council if you ask me...

Are there some database issues with avatars?
