THe dps is only 5dmg higher than the other ASF at the cost of HP/stealth so wouldn't really say that aeon ASF is the best one. Aeon is rather considered strong air faction due to the fact that it have quite the variety of air units in it's rooster.

aeon have the best ASF due to its DPS, which is the highest. They also have the aforementioned Solace, which I haven't used but it seems like a better alternative to their T2 bomber. I may be wrong though since aeon is not my faction of choice.

I often wondered why the T3 Scout for Seraphim doesn't have the same after image ability as the T1 scout.

Torp bombers are after beeing patched some kind of homing bombers. They act like slow rockets flying into target but they dont swim. Just while writing this i was wondering cybran got t1 gunships uef got t3 transport and aeon got restorer. We need to introduce a plane for seraphim.

A t1 torpedo bomber with stats like a t1 bomber 300 damage but static target instead of guided so moving targets wont be hit. Fun unit to annoy enemy ACU under water and kill water structures maybe not moving ships

An finally seraphim does not need anything except t1 air and hover arti to dominate water!

In general i would say all air units are balanced. There is no best or worst faction. Everybody got good things and bad things.

With shallow water Aeon T2 torp bombers are useless, then you are forced to go T3.

Solace doesn't drop better than T2 aeon torp bomber on shallow water.

T1 bomber -> Sera. T2 bomber for snipes -> Cyb or UEF. T2 air superiority -> Aeon. T2 drops -> Sera (big transports and good t1 arti).
Cyb T2 gunships are hard to micro, they don't shoot when not having the right angle.
With shallow water Aeon T2 torp bombers are useless, then you are forced to go T3.

The Cybran's T3 air is not to be trifled with...their ASFs have personal stealth, their T3 gunships have jamming, and most sinister of all is their Strategic bombers which have personal stealth. They'll never know you're coming in for a bombing run if you evade their vision and Omni, and by then it's too latefor them!

Also dont use the fighterbombers for fighting air units. Its really mass inefficient. Use them only versus ground units.

Aeon used to be the faction of choice on Setons mostly because of the strong double RAS and T3 Torp bomer (a category which i completely ignored in the list because they can only be used on maps with water and aside from the Solace all torp bomber do exactly the same). And since Setons Air is for 99% of the time limited to T3 Air rush and nothing else there isn't a lot variety to find.

i expected to read quite some different answers.

when people (were) are playing with different roles (lets say setons), the air player mostly was even asked by the team comrades to take aeon,
but this might be outdated information.
