You do not have to hold shift while you click on engies 3, 4, and 5. You can select/deselect multiple engies for a drop without holding shift.

there is no illegal thing to do ingame

There are a number of things you can do that may or may not get you banned and they are listed here: http://forums.faforever.com/viewtopic.p ... 22#p116202

How do you hover bomb with a t3 bomber and is it just the aeon it works with?? Is it a legal thing to do ingame?

there really technically is no illegal thing to do in-game. if you attempt to team kill the game will automatically detect it and prompt the teamkilled player if he wishes to report you which he can choose to do or not do at his discretion, if he does repeat offenses could amount to a temporary ban.

other than that you're free to do whatever game maneuver you like.

hover bombing is more or less patched out via bombing run lengths and turn radius nerfs, if you can pull it off on the aeon strat bomber, good for you, have at it. If you're able to pull it off with other bombers too have at it too.

Also, if you use a mavor or other t4 arty to ground fire an acu in the water does it do full normal damage and kill the acu?

you can depending on how deep into the water he is. t4 arty shells are mostly quite big aoe and thus decent water depth, but there's a hard cap to how deep in-water damages can go I dunno how to give you a good idea in measurements but basically 4/5th's commander's height is where all aoe underwater damages from surface shell explosions stop.

so basically not that deep, some maps don't have that much depth at all.

this is to my knowledge I will test more to confirm. (here's my replay to test some of this) :

Click engie 2. Shift click engies 3,4,5 - shift click map to drop location 2
Drop all remaining units location 3 (less clicks than selecting engie 6 manually)

Also, is it possible to load a transport with 6 units and then queue it up to drop the 1st engineer at a first location, the next 4 engineers at a second location and then the remaining 6th engineer at a third location? As far as I know the only way to drop more than one unit is to drop `all remaining` units at that time as opposed to a specific number that is more than one...hope that makes sense

Also, if you use a mavor or other t4 arty to ground fire an acu in the water does it do full normal damage and kill the acu?

I certainly do. However I tend to stick these questions up after a game because I need to go sleep and don't have the time. Plus the info may be of use to others. In a manner this thread has shown the learning curve of a newbie which may hopefully be of use to others. FAF is a ridiculously complex game and if you don't have masses of spare time to play then the curve takes longer.

Farms will one day be one of these grumpy forum dwellers who rather spend their apm linking a relevant wiki article than typing the actual answer.

Pressing stop ends both firing and production. I don't think the TML launches more than once if you give the launch order only once. You may have given a launch order several times while holding shift.

Yes that seems to be it, I do recall having shift held down when targetting thanks!
