if there is any advantage in your mod over Selection lock v4. pls tell me :)

and in Selection lock v4. ; you can configure which unit are affected by the mod.

Also if there is any thing i would love is that assist unit don't get attracted by opponent unit and leave the unit they are assisted. But i think this has to do with the GSR, and it cannot be changed in a ui mod

With all the talk about about the area commands and how you can easily assist shields to units with it.
I thought about how nice it would be if they stayed assisted even when you give your army a new command.

I don't know a mod that does this, (maybe its a feature of one of the bigger ones? please inform me before i start doing actual work ;) )
So i decided to take a shot at it myself.

Well i basicly took SelenDeselect mod and changed 1 line, and it roughly does what i had in mind.
So with this mod you won't select units that are assisting something, except if you only select assisting units.
( just like SelenDeselect, who would've expected that  )

Its quite nice for when you have a unit + scout combo. No need to make sure you don't accidently select the scout too.
tank + scout : http://recordit.co/iKKLsTtBCu
bomber + scout : http://recordit.co/rCh2CnA4en

And it works well with shields/flak assisted to your armies:

Would be nice if people try it out
  • Show some nice things you can do with it
  • Show situations where it shouldn't really happen
  • Show situations where you want it too happen
