I am bookmarking this thread for the next time people tell me I am "full of it" for declaring a lot of people cheat in this community.

You can use !smurfcheck "NameOfAPlaer" to make TheSetoner give you a list of accounts that use the same IP adress.
If you want to use it you might want to keep in mind that it is always possible that accs can have overlapping IPs because of other reasons than someone using multiple accs themself.

There's more than 20 replays of the exact same, with same buildorders, one player starts doing things after the other, slow starts.

I'll quote something from the rules here:

You will not create a second account for abusive behavior. Ignoring this rule can result in a ban from one or both accounts.

And to make it absolutely completely obvious that this is - fair, I'll add that playing on two accounts isn't allowed by the rules, in the exploits list.

Taking a closer look at the replays and doing a smurfcheck makes me at least assume that this guy is using multiple accs himself (probably NinjaWarrior97 and Opyt19). So theres that.
BTW there is no "rule" against tech trading on setons.
I'm also not sure if you know what the ecomanager does and does not do.

It would be really great if people would stop speculating and maybe wait for a statement from Gorton.

i've lost a game in a tourney to base giving and it was a great game. very creative form of cheese, i really liked it and wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

1 player getting 2 bases without a teammate is messed up though. we should be able to verify whether the game had 2 separate people in it based on the replay data. if commands were given on 2 different computers at the exact same time, that tells us his brother exists (most likely)

What if it is two actual players, where a team takes low rated player to balance a game and then he gives all his base to the 1600+. Seen that happen a few times.

Different question I know, but since the thread is already started. I assumed it was cheating at the time.

I must agree - from the perspective of a moderator, it would be near impossible to tell the difference between two actual players from the same address, or someone running two computers. I suppose, if it were me, I would warn someone the first time I saw it (especially if a ladder game) and outright ban it if repeated (certainly if a ladder game). It's unfortunate, if it's true, but it's the only way to keep the community completely impartial.
