That's anecdotal evidence only. Who's to say we wouldn't have double the active contributors by now if we'd sorted these positions out? (I happen to believe we're missing out on lots of contributions)

I completely reject the idea that the "position" of a councillor s meaningless, I think whoever becomes PC will prove that point.

You have to realize all the things that the PC is asked to do and have been promised by all the candidates can already be done by anyone else. In my eyes, people not willing to contribute shows that they are in it for the position and not to help the community/love of the game.
