In Games I prefer some "appropriate" musik, which means either the OST, the Vanilla OST or some TA Music

Here's one of my more recent favorite ambient songs of all time. The video is also very beautiful. It puts me in a very focused...thoughtful mood. He mostly does house/trance music though.

I've been really enjoying the ambient works of Aphex Twin lately for FA http://youtu.be/iDKukD88zq4 - that's the entire album.
It's not too intrusive as rock/metal can be but the peat has a definite pulse, which helps me keep tempo in game.

Stravinsky is also amazing to listen to, especially in longer or naval games. http://youtu.be/yzPsJ_ikpGE <- this is a recording of Stravinsky himself conducting in 1965 - you can probably find better recordings out there but its still very serviceable. I feel Jeremy Soule drew a lot of inspiration from Stravinsky; you can really hear the similarities in style and theme.

I'm really enjoying Aphex Twin so so so much!!!!! It's borderline deep electronica I love it...I'm going to listen to the entire album for sure, it's going straight into my library (:...Stravinsky isn't my thang though, but I do love Jeremy Soule, first time hearing him was in Neverwinter Nights, years ago.
