x6 is ok but the civs are kinda bugged, I don't think they have enough pgens. It would be cool to have an x6 with a redesigned mid area.
Break is fine and I never saw problems on Project but I wasn't using mantis.


this? Is arty sometimes not shooting really game breaking, since it's shooty extremely random anyway? And is it not possible for some mapper to add an e storage to the map? Or even redesign it a bit to fit 1v1 a bit more. I already wrote in the thread that I expected someone to do it, and that i'll replace it if it won't happen soon, so if that's the only issue, there is no issue.

I can announce the maps I'd choose earlier next time though, and then people can test them before they get implemented. I didn't expect (and still don't honestly, we all know how it works with testing, but i'll be glad to be surprised and It doesn't mean we shouldn't at least give the possibility) that there'd be much help.

Just because you have not seen these bugs do not mean they don't exist. Jagged didn't think there was an issue earlier in the thread and then after more play realized it's worse than he anticipated.

Please understand that help is here and if it's not utilized to alleviate your busy schedule problems will arise. It's very unsettling that you are not willing to listen to the pleas of others.

Haven't encountered any issues on project either when I played it. It has many narrow passages, so you can't expect too much, but it was ok. More issues can always show later, if we want to have less played and unknown maps thats bound to happen once in a while. But everyone can test the suggestions in the thread or make better ones.

x6 has the lacking energy storage, but it is far from game breaking. If anyone does an updated version for it, it'll be instantly replaced. If not, it'll be replaced too, but I hoped someone might bother to update it. There aren't too many maps that are somewhat suitable for 1v1 in the first place.

Arguing about which map is good or bad can be done to no end but won't lead to anything. If there are any game-breaking, seriously unfair or unusual high amount of bugs, any map will be removed though. But someone have a unit stuck once in a while is not enough, how about some replays instead of ranting? Ranting has never accomplished anything.

BUGS on the other hand are unacceptable. A map can be new and hated if it wants, but it has to actually... Work...

was playing some 1v1 with ithilis
hes known for hosting some unknown shitmap never before seen by humans
hosted some map, i took one look at it and thought it was pretty retarded (impact crater not ugly at all), but w.e. could be worse i guess
started playing, realised its got totally fucked lighting and pretty much invisible hill at the top corner where i was
somewhat weird where you get to middle and reclaim, but w.e. its 5x5 so not too much choice here in terms of gameplay
looks like desert arena but green i guess, and also with totally awful tree placement. nice.

cos of ithilises epic map choices i like to complain about maps to him, so i start doing that
and then ithilis tells me this was in ladder pool. i was quite surprised, this is normally the quality of map would he host, and not the quailty of maps people would actually play.

so yeah i guess great job on picking that ladder map pool.
