Maybe you should use less units.
Even with a strong PC you should not go over 2000 units for all players together on a 10x10 map. if yoou want to play with +0 game speed.
On a 20x20 Map you should not go over 1800 units for all.

The sorian Ai inside FAF is no longer a mod, its integrated into the game. This also means that it benefits from changes we have done to the normal AI.

And we have add many improvements to the sorian Ai itself. Like better platoons, adding platoons to Air units and changed the experimental behavior.

There are also aditional functions and last but not least speed optimizations.

Or in other words, Sorian AI mod v2.1.2 is 4 years behind Sorian FAF version.

Ok that explains everything.
Is there any possibility to save FAF game? 2 hours ingame is approximately 6 hours in real life on large maps with 1500 unit limit.

I can't figure where should I write about it, so I write here.
I play large maps (80x80) with my friend against 4-6 Sorian AIs.
When I create game in Vanilla FA with Sorian AI mod v2.1.2 installed it behaves significantly different to game launched by FAF client.
For example "FAF Sorian AI" uses formations for Air and Naval Units, it attacks expansions with experimentals thus forcing me to divide my forces and build more defences, it attacks from behind, in late stages of the game against AIx I had to deal with large groups of experimentals like 5 colossi or 3 ahwassas etc. However in vanilla FA Sorian AI is quite predictable and teeth-less.
Is there any explanation to this?

"everything's better in FAF" :) ?

the faf devs must've tweaked the mod wheras sorian didn't come back to this mod since he left to work with GPG
